New York City real estate professional Maia Barnett loves the business of place-making, whether that’s finding the perfect home for a residential client or ushering commercial customers to the ideal setting for their restaurant or boutique. As a former tour manager, she excels at thinking on her feet and working hard to overcome obstacles. In real estate, clients praise her ability to come to the table with a strategic mindset and all the hustle it takes to get the deal done.
Maia began her real estate career in commercial leasing. Her specialty in the restaurant and hospitality sector was the perfect marriage of her love for food, restaurants and meeting new people. Maia counts overseeing the development of the William Vale Hotel’s lower-level retail spaces among her proudest achievements. She also facilitated a Brooklyn-based healthcare company’s expansion, opening 35 locations across the five boroughs. Today, as a proud member of The Danny Davis Team at Corcoran, Maia is integral to the group’s mission of helping buyers, sellers and commercial clients exceed their goals in New York City’s most sought-after neighborhoods.
Originally from Los Angeles, Maia currently resides in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. She studied art history at The American University of Paris in France for two years before graduating from New York City’s Eugene Lang College of Arts at The New School with a degree in music. Maia loves to cook and continues to pursue her passion for writing and playing music. She is fluent in English and speaks conversational French and Spanish.
